We are a family-owned team based in Tauranga, serving the Bay of Plenty and wider New Zealand. Our business specialises in sliding doors, walk-in wardrobes, and custom cabinetry, creating smart, stylish, and space-saving storage solutions for homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

Our Story

Our journey together began in 2009 in London, after living and working in various parts of England and Ireland. We spent those years travelling, experiencing life, and building our skills, learning the value of creativity, resourcefulness, and making the most of every opportunity.

In 2013, we returned to New Zealand to settle and raise a family. Living in a 100-year-old farmhouse with very limited kitchen bench space and no wardrobes in one of the rooms was a defining moment — we realised just how important smart, practical, and stylish storage solutions are for everyday life.

Drawing on our experience in building and landscaping, and inspired by the need for thoughtful, space-saving design, we founded Doors & Drawers. Our goal is to thoughtfully design and craft smart, stylish, and space-efficient storage solutions with care and expertise.

Meet the Team

The Founder of Doors & Drawers, Tom, has been immersed in cabinetry since he was a kid, learning the trade alongside his father. It’s a craft that runs in the family, and his experience brings unmatched skill and attention to detail to every project.

Laura brings her practical approach and strong people skills to every project. Her professional experience spans project and event management, as well as relationship-focused roles. These skills support every client interaction and project.
